Ski Resort Access and Lift Ticket Purchase Updates The Resort Is managing access to the mountains through a reservation system. The reservation system is exclusive to Pass Holders through Dec. 7 and is now live. Reservations and Lift tickets for non-pass holders are now available too for the dates of December 8- April 4, 2021. No day-of, walk-up tickets will be sold. Book ahead and online.
While the ticket situation is certainly frustrating, we understand the mountains needs to be conservative and extra safe, especially during the early season where there is generally less terrain, less snow and plenty of people. Their concern is for your safety and to keep the mountains open and the skiing and snowboarding going throughout the season. We hope they will be more flexible as terrain opens up at the resorts.
Squaw Valley | Alpine Meadows
Squaw will manage general visitation to the mountain by temporarily eliminating the sale of "walk-up" tickets at the window. Currently no stand-alone lift tickets are available for skiing prior to January 4 and no lift tickets are available on weekends or holidays (Jan 18 & Feb 15-19, 2021) unless packaged with lesson or equipment rental. Weekend ticket access could change after January 4th as more terrain opens.
- Ikon Season Pass holders will have the best and most flexible access to the resort as well as guests who book a ski and ride school lesson and ski & snowboard rentals through the resort. Ikon Season Passes are still available for purchase.
- Purchase tickets for skiing starting January 4 in advance for the best rates and availability, or with the Squaw | Alpine Mobile App (Download in the Google Play Store or iTunes
