Your Guide to Tahoe Winter Season Resort Passes

About 3 year(s) ago by Donner Lake Village

Opening days are on the horizon, and Tahoe mountain resorts are excited to welcome you back!! Your favorite resorts are offering extra perks and assurances giving you peace of mind when purchasing season passes this winter. Safe physical distancing, pass holder reservation systems and pre-booked lift tickets dominate the slopes this upcoming season ensuring fun in the snow for everyone. We're here to help you navigate your options as you gear up to break free on the mountain!

Pass holder reservation systems and pre-booked lift tickets mean less crowds and more wide-open terrain! After weeks and months in isolation, we can all use a bit of space in the great outdoors. You'll be enjoying more of it, even on the chairlifts, as you'll only be sharing the seat with those related to you. Ski and ride lessons will have reduced class sizes giving participants more one-on-one attention from the instructor. Get in and out of mountain restaurants quicker with lots of takeaway options, packaged beer and wine and cashless transactions! Even delivery of rental equipment will be easier and of course sanitized between uses.

Northstar – EPIC Pass

This season is all about pass perks! Get exclusive early season access, priority reservation days and more days all season long with Northstar's EPIC pass! Their reservation system kicks off November 6, and pass holders get exclusive early season access through December 7. With Opening Day slotted for November 20, that's plenty of time to start conquering the mountain! Pass holders can also reserve up to 7 Priority Reservation Days for the core season before lift tickets go on sale on December 8, and they can book new Priority Reservation Days as they use them. Reservations can easily be made all in one place and with real-time availability. That's epically easy! ;)

Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows – The IKON Pass

The IKON Pass triumphs with Adventure Assurance this winter season! Pass holders confidently ride with peace of mind knowing they have options in case of COVID-19 closures. With NO blackout dates, they get the most access to the mountains they love starting on Opening Day scheduled for November 25. Pass holders also receive 15% discount on food, retail and lessons at select destinations! Riders looking for a cheaper pass option can happily grab the IKON Base Pass, a jump below its big brother, with limited blackout dates and 10% discount on food, retail and lessons.

Boreal – The Unlimited Pass and The Night Pass

Boreal magic returns all winter with The Unlimited Pass! Ski or ride every day of the season with zero blackout dates! Score a free Kids Ride pass with each purchase of an adult Unlimited Pass – that's cheaper riding for the entire family! Escape the crowds and shred into the night with Boreal's The Night Pass! Ride under the lights 7 days a week with zero blackout dates!
