It really has been an insanely good powder skiing season. For the drought years when we itched to ski in waist-deep snow, this year has really watered our soul with a renewed love for the mountains. But it’s been a long winter. We’re ready to usher in a new season ... spring!
Say goodbye to the ice and cold with this three-day festival of music, brews, and excellent views. Enjoy incredible bluegrass and acoustic music in one of the Sierra's most majestic valleys. The Tahoe WinterWonderGrass Festival, held at Squaw, combines food, music, and epic outdoor backdrops. Performances will take place on the four stages throughout Squaw Valley with complimentary beer tasting happening from 2-5PM each day. A cool element of the event is the lighted glowing backdrop so all of the family can gather around and dance to the 20 energy-filled bands, such as Hot Buttered Rum, Trout Steak Revival Brad Parsons Band and Pickin on the Dead – just to name a few.
Tickets are still available for Saturday and Sunday! Purchase them HERE.
Be sure to try one of the best craft beers in the area, and local fare. Other spirits and local culinary grub are also available to fill your belly. The locals of this community pride themselves on no waste, utilizing local sustainability, another emphasis of this event, which combines the sights, sounds and tastes of Tahoe’s most beloved season.
