Truckee's Best Apres Ski Party + Raffle
Fish Taco Fridays kick off at Bar of America in historic downtown Truckee this February 21! Truckee's Best Apres Ski Party and Raffle is back every Friday night all winter long through April 10. Raffle prizes include lift tickets, local retail swag, snow gear giveaways and a Head Snowboard as the grand prize!
Happy Hour
Get there early for Happy Hour from 4-6pm and cozy up with an Old Fashioned Rough Rider and a Don Juan Paloma to wet your appetite. The Apres Ski Party starts right after with food and drink specials from 6:30-9:30pm. Indulge in 6 Shooter Poppers or a Slider in the Saddle to squash your hunger if fish tacos aren't for you. Collect a raffle ticket for every drink or food item you purchase making your chances of winning even higher!
Bar of America has been an iconic watering hole in historic downtown Truckee for over 40 years. Take a piece of history home with you and purchase a Bar of America t-shirt or hoodie with a signature American Eagle on it. Bar of America is well known for its great live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights starting around 9pm and is open daily for lunch and dinner.
National Margarita Day & Tequila Tasting
National Margarita Day on Saturday, February 22 comes right after Fish Taco Friday! Bar of America will be serving their delicious Thunderbird and ‘Al Patron' margaritas for your drinking pleasure. Come back on March 11 for a special Don Julio Tequila Tasting with complimentary appetizers. Tequila Tasting begins at 5:30pm and admission costs just $10 or buy a signature drink to get in the door. Drinking is a tradition here so make the most of it!
