Save the planet! Find family-friendly fun, live music, dance performances, vendor booths and raffle prizes at the Tahoe Truckee Earth Day Celebration. From 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday, April 16, you'll find a festive gathering with an eco-friendly spirit at the Village at Squaw Valley. Visit booths and learn about alternative energy sources, recycling, composting, sustainability and other green living topics. Discover how you can reduce your carbon footprint - all while having a blast with the local community. Kids will love the special Discovery Zone, and there will also be a special "Trashion" Show featuring upcycled outfits from local designers. The schedule for the Tahoe Truckee Earth Day Celebration includes:

  • 11:00 am to 5:00 pm: Educational Booths & Kids Discovery Zone open
  • 11:30 am to 1:30 pm: Joaquin & The Love Lights
  • 2:00 pm to 2:15 pm: Asha Dancers
  • 2:15 pm to 3:00 pm: Trashion Show 
  • 3:25 pm: Raffle winners announced
  • 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm: The Kitchen Dwellers
