St. Patrick's Day At Tahoe

About 2 year(s) ago by Becky Moore

The luck of the Irish comes to the mountains this St Patrick's Day! From pubs and breweries pouring Guinness and stout beers to restaurants serving Irish meals, we've got your St Paddy's Day covered! Create your own festive inspired holiday with dine-in and takeout options perfect for enjoying in town or back at your lodging.

Pubs, Breweries & Taprooms

Start your St Patrick's Day with a Mr. Z's Chocolate Stout & Awkward Family Dinner from Alibi Ale Works! Their drinks are as fun as their names and with three different locations to choose from, you'll be merrily drinking all day long! Soak up a barrel aged stout with dine-in specials inside the FiftyFifty Brewing heated tent! If the beer doesn't warm you up, the heat lamps sure will. Fill a 32oz or 64oz growler at the Truckee Brewing Company and drink it with friends or take it to go! Hit up the beer garden at Tahoe Tap Haus!

Irish Beef Stew, Potato Pancakes and Guinness Inspired Desserts

Grab a tasty Irish meal with a shepherd's pie or bangers, beans and mash at Tahoe Tap Haus! Enjoy the mountain lifestyle lounging in their beer garden with a Guinness. Eat, drink and be merry at the Auld Dubliner in The Village at Squaw! Bite into corned beef sliders, Guinness beef stew and their Irish potato pancakes, also known as Boxty, for a true Irish meal.

Bring the Irish spirit home with you and make a Guinness cake or Guinness Float! Place two scoops of vanilla or coffee ice cream in a tall glass, slowly top with Guinness or another stout beer and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Frost your glasses in the freezer first and add whipped cream before the chocolate drizzle for a decadent dessert.
