Streamers and fireworks, champagne bubbles and glittery outfits. The New Year Eve celebrations are some of the biggest of the year, as many reflect on the past year and look ahead to the New Year with a fresh start. You could ring in 2017 at Squaw Valley's New Year's Eve Prom (an epic dance party) or skiing with loved ones and gathering around the fire pit for apres ski hot toddies and s'mores. There are many ways to ring in the New Year!
Since this is a season of increased travelers on Truckee-Tahoe roads, and with the New Year's Eve celebrations, we want to keep our local community safe. With that in mind, the Truckee North Lake Tahoe Transportation Management Association is providing a FREE Holiday Shuttle. The shuttle runs from 12PM to 2AM through Truckee's subdivisions (Donner Lake too -- yes, that's us!) and Downtown Truckee. Between 6PM and 2AM the holiday shuttle also runs to a from Downtown Truckee to Northstar and Squaw Valley.
