Family Fun at Tahoe Treetop Adventure Parks

About 2 year(s) ago by Donner Lake Village

Climb through towering pine trees and zipline through the air at Tahoe Tree Top Adventure Parks! Have a blast with the family acting like Tarzan - navigating rope swings, wobbly bridges, swinging logs, tightropes and cargo nets while jumping between tree platforms!

Choose between 3 different Aerial Adventure Parks, each one uniquely Tahoe! Tahoe City, Tahoe Vista and Squaw Valley have action-packed parks full of challenging and exhilarating obstacles for ages 5 and up! Whether you have dare devils in your family or loved ones who prefer their feet closer to the ground, there's plenty of beginner to advanced courses for everyone.

Tahoe City Treetop Park

Located behind Granlibakken Resort, Tahoe City Treetop Park boasts 10 courses – 2 beginner, 6 intermediate, and 2 advanced. This much-loved park has 97 tree platforms, 27 zip lines and 60 wobbly and shaky bridges! It's set amongst secluded forest with large pine trees and old growth cedars making it the perfect Tahoe adventure. Head to Commons Beach after to relax, swim and eat lunch with the family.

Tahoe Vista Treetop Park

This is the newest location and has views of Lake Tahoe as it's located within the North Tahoe Regional Park! Choose from 9 courses ranging from beginner to advanced with 87 tree platforms, 39 zip lines and 54 bridges! Non-participating friends and family can watch from trails below the courses, and there's even a picnic area available to rehydrate and recharge.

Squaw Valley Treetop Park

Traverse the 50' Alpine Tower, 16 tree platforms, 6 zip lines and 10 bridges at Squaw Valley Treetop Park! These beginner to intermediate courses are built into the hillside facing Shirley Canyon and the famous peaks of Squaw Valley. This park includes older ropes styles mixed with vertical climbing elements and newer horizontal aerial trekking courses.

Feel Safe in the Air

Your safety gear includes a helmet and full body harness, and these follow you around the course from start to finish. Make sure to wear closed toe shoes and bring your own helmet if you want. All Tahoe Treetop Adventure Parks use state-of-the-art technology. The Saferoller continuous belay system is impossible to disconnect from while in the air, so there's no need to disconnect and reconnect at every tree like at other parks. All courses are self-guided, so you can take them at your own pace, and staff monitor from the ground in case anyone needs help. After a short 10-15 minute training, your family will be climbing through the treetops within minutes!
