From Reno, take Interstate 80 West to Truckee. Exit at the Donner Pass Road exit. Turn left onto Donner Pass Road and cross back over the freeway. Drive approximately 3 miles along Donner Lake. After you pass the Donner Lake boat ramp, look for signs for Donner Lake Village on your left.

From the Bay Area and Sacramento, get on Interstate 80 East. After crossing over Donner Summit, look for the Donner Lake exit. Get off the freeway at that exit, and turn to the right. You will drive down a hill. At the stop sign, turn right onto Donner Pass Road. Look for signs for Donner Lake Village immediately on your left.
