Nearby Donner State Park offers access for hiking and boating and there are numerous State, County and Regional parks throughout the Truckee - Tahoe area. West End Beach is also a summertime favorite as are the 37 public piers that line the north side of Donner Lake. Hiking and biking trails are numerous.
